SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food preparation devices with a retractable door. The food preparation device contains: a hollow case having an inner area for accommodation of a prepared product and a hole, through which the prepared product can be moved relatively to the inner area, a guide and a retainer installed inside the case, a door attached to the case for closing the specified hole, a retracting mechanism. At the same time, the door contains the first latch installed on the door for interaction with the retainer during door movement for closing the specified hole and the second latch installed on the door and independently reciprocatively moving relatively to the first latch between the first position and the second position. Moreover, the second latch is made with the possibility of forced movement in the direction of the second position in such a way that, during door movement for closing the specified hole, the second latch is placed inside the case, deflected in the direction of the first position by means of the specified guide until a section of the second latch overcomes the specified guide, and is forcedly moved in the direction of the second position for stopping behind the specified guide. The retracting mechanism is installed on the case for retracting the door to a closed position, and it contains: a profile providing a tract, along which the retainer is moved. Moreover, the specified tract is formed by the first sidewall and the second sidewall, and the first sidewall of the tract is made with the possibility of reversible deformation for increasing the displacement between the first sidewall and the second sidewall on at least a section of the specified tract for orientation of the retainer for interaction with the first latch.
