FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the production of temperature indicators. A particle with a “core-shell” structure is proposed, in which the core contains at least one thermochromic semiconductor, the shell contains at least two layers. At the same time, an inner layer contacts with the core and contains mineral material, and an outer layer contains mineral material, which differs from material of the inner layer. The thermochromic semiconductor is selected from Bi2O3, Fe2O3, V2O5, WO3, CeO2, In2O3, pyrochlore semiconductor Y1,84Ca0,16Ti1,84V0,16O1,84, BiVO4, and mixtures thereof. A method for the production of such a particle, a thermochromic pigment composition, non-stick coating, a kitchen product, and the use of the particle as a temperature indicator are also proposed.
EFFECT: inventions allow for an increase in the resistance of thermochromic particles to oils and lipids at elevated temperatures.
