FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment and can be used in the petrochemical, gas, and other industries for measuring the volumetric and mass flow rate of gas in domestic and industrial processes, as well as in energy resource metering units for the commercial calculation with reduction to standard conditions without utilising additional temperature measuring equipment. Proposed is a gas flow meter with temperature compensation, consisting of two measuring channels, wherein each of said channels comprises an acoustic multivibrator connected with an information processing unit via a piezoelectric element and an amplifier, wherein said unit contains a frequency subtraction circuit, two "AND" circuits and two inverters, the outputs whereof are connected with the inputs of the "AND" circuits, the outputs whereof are connected with the frequency dividers, the outputs whereof are connected with two inputs of the "OR" element, the output whereof is connected with a microcontroller connected with a digital indicator; according to the invention, a gas temperature calculation apparatus is included in the information processing unit, wherein the input of said apparatus is connected with the output of the "OR" circuit and the output is connected with the input of the microcontroller, also supplied with information on the pressure drop between the input and the output of an acoustic multivibrator and the difference in the output frequencies of the acoustic multivibrators.
EFFECT: simultaneous calculation of the flow rate and temperature of gas for heat compensation from the information received from acoustic multivibrators, and simplification of the measurement diagram.
