FIELD: pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the treatment of WHIM syndrome. A method for the treatment or prevention of WHIM syndrome in a human, who needs it, includes the injection to the specified human of CXCR4 antagonist in the amount effective for the treatment or prevention of WHIM syndrome. According to the invention, CXCR4 antagonist is N-[4-(11-sulfoxo-1,4,7-triazacyclotetradecanil)-1,4-phenylenbis(methylene)]-2-(aminomethyl)pyridine
or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt or metal complex.
EFFECT: invention provides for expanding the arsenal of means of a specific purpose.
