FIELD: radar and electronic warfare.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radar and electronic warfare and can be used to improve the noise immunity of an airborne radar station (ARS) when setting frequency-targeted interference by an active jamming station (AJS). The claimed method provides for the formation of probing signals at one of the selected frequencies within the operating range and the implementation in parallel with the detection of a signal re-reflected from an air target to detect a frequency-targeted interference. In this case, within the operating frequency range of the ARS, two groups of operating frequencies are distinguished. When exposed to interference, the determination and memorization of the direction to the source of interference is carried out, and the ARS operates at one of the frequencies of the second frequency group. After the disappearance of interference for the period of frequency reconnaissance by the radio intelligence station (RIS) as part of the AJS, the airborne radar station switches to one of the frequencies of the first group of operating frequencies. After the completion of frequency reconnaissance by the RTR station as part of the AJS and the resumption of jamming from the memorized direction, the ARS switches to the frequency of the second group of operating frequencies.
EFFECT: increasing the noise immunity of the ARS when exposed to frequency-targeted interference.
