FIELD: pharmaceuticals.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for isolating (1R,2S)-1-(6-bromo-2-methoxyquinoline-3-yl)-4-dimethylamino-2-(1-naphthyl)-1-phenylbutane-2-ol, wherein (1R,2S)-1-(6-bromo-2-methoxyquinoline-3-yl)-4-dimethylamino-2-(1-naphthyl)-1-phenylbutane-2-ol is isolated optically from a mixture of stereoisomers of 1-(6-bromo-2-methoxyquinoline-3-yl)-4-(dimethylamino)-2-(naphthalene-1-yl)-1-phenylbutane-2-ol using a separation agent; wherein the method includes the stages of (a) preparing a mixture containing salts of (1R,2S)-1-(6-bromo-2-methoxyquinoline-3-yl)-4-dimethylamino-2-(1-naphthyl)-1-phenyl-butane-2-ol and a separation agent by adding a stereoisomeric mixture of 1-(6-bromo-2-methoxyquinoline-3-yl)-4-(dimethylamino)-2-(naphthalene-1-yl)-1-phenylbutane-2-ol and the separation agent to an organic solvent; and (b) producing (1R,2S)-1-(6-bromo-2-methoxyquinoline-3-yl)-4-dimethylamino-2-(1-naphthyl)-1-phenylbutane-2-ol from the salt of (1R,2S)-1-(6-bromo-2-methoxyquinoline-3-yl)-4-(dimethylamino)-2-(1-naphthyl)-1-phenyl-butane-2-ol and the separation agent; wherein the separation agent constitutes (11bR)-8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15-octahydro-4-hydroxy-4-oxide-dinaphtho[2,1-d:1',2'-f][1,3,2]dioxaphosphepine, as well as to a method for producing (1R,2S)-1-(6-bromo-2-methoxyquinoline-3-yl)-4-dimethylamino-2-(1-naphthyl)-1-phenylbutane-2-ol or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, including the isolation of (1R,2S)-1-(6-bromo-2-methoxyquinoline-3-yl)-4-dimethylamino-2-(1-naphthyl)-1-phenylbutane-2-ol.

EFFECT: creation of a new method for isolating (1R,2S)-1-(6-bromo-2-methoxyquinoline-3-yl)-4-dimethylamino-2-(1-naphthyl)-1-phenylbutane-2-ol, suitable for mass production by a cost-effective process of production and with high output.
