FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, namely, to the operation of pipeline systems, and can be used for testing and repairing pipelines. Controlled plug with guaranteed seal tightness comprises two tightening half-bodies with elements for the attachment to the pipeline, wherein installed between said half-bodies is a sliding gate interacting with the sealing elements of the input and output channels with a through hole, said gate being pressed against the sealing element of the input channel by a pressure seat controlled by a self-braking after-pressure mechanism; wherein the sliding gate is placed in a niche of the input half-body and is equipped with gear pins interacting with the horizontal rotation axle of the pinwheel controlled by a handle; wherein the self-braking after-pressure mechanism is made in the form of a pressure seat coupled with a horizontal transverse groove, placed in the blind groove of the output half-body, and controlled by the handle of the vertical eccentric passed through the window of the latter and secured thereon.
EFFECT: creation of a design of a controlled plug with guaranteed seal tightness.
