FIELD: pipeline fittings.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline fittings and can be used for periodic or emergency testing or repair of pipelines. The plug is made with a constant construction length, which is maintained both in the working position and when changing working positions. The plug consists of two half-shells, a gate assembly with a movable and fixed saddle part, and a gate plate with a through passage and a non-through passage. The plug contains a mechanism for moving the movable part of the gate assembly, guides and positioning elements. The movement mechanism consists of a set of functional bolts: tension, booster and squeezing. Tension type bolt moves the movable part of the valve assembly in the direction of its sealing and depressurization. Booster bolts seal the gate assembly. The forcing bolt compensates for possible distortions in the position of the moving part relative to the fixed part of the gate assembly and is used as the axis of rotation for rotary type gate plates.
EFFECT: possibility is achieved that there is no need to use the energy means of the movement mechanism and ensure the minimum time for transferring the shutter plate from the "open" position to the "closed" position.
