FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: adjustable disk discrete throttle includes a disk that is equipped with L-shaped holes. Inlet parts of L-shaped holes are located on end surface of a disk and have different diameters, and outlet parts of L-shaped holes are located on cylindrical surface of the disk. Axes of inlet parts of L-shaped holes are located on different diameters of end surface of the disk; copper-fluoroplastic gaskets are installed between a spindle and a cover plate, as well as between the disk and the cover plate. Diameters of inlet parts of L-shaped holes of the disk are different, including 0, at that, combination and order of their location on end surface of the disk are different as well.
EFFECT: excluding working medium flows from inlet cavity to outlet cavity at fixed disk position; providing possibility of full shutoff of working medium flow; reducing force on a stock at control of a throttle; providing the possibility of varying the diameter of throttle working pass without shutting off the working medium flow; reducing weight and overall dimensions; enlarging service life of a throttle.
