SUBSTANCE: construction and operation of pipeline systems used for repair and testing of pipelines. A manually controlled gate plug contains two half-bodies with main branch pipes, connected to each other by tie rods passed inside tubular stops that serve as a support for moving with the solid part and with an opening equal to the opening of the main branch pipes, a gate interacting on one side with the sealing element of the first half-body, and on the other side with a sealing element of a movable slider with racks for controlling lever mechanisms, one lever of which is made adjustable in length. The second rack of the lever mechanism is movably placed in a curved inclined groove of the control disk, mounted movably and rotationally on the second half-body. The movable hinge of the connection stand with an adjustable lever is located in the vertical groove of the limiter, mounted motionless on the second half-body.

EFFECT: reducing the weight and size characteristics of a manually controlled gate plug.
