FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engines of vehicles. The vehicle with a highly accelerated internal combustion engine contains a chassis (I) in which a power plant (II) is located, including an internal combustion engine (2) equipped with a turbocharger (3), a regular high-pressure fuel pump (4), sensors (5), (6) fluid temperatures in cooling and lubrication systems (16), (17), exhaust system (7), chassis electrical system, alarm equipment (8), control unit (10) and mechanism (9) engine stop. The exhaust gas system (7) is equipped with an exhaust gas temperature sensor (11). The internal combustion engine (2) is connected to the power limiting mechanism (13). Chassis alarm equipment is provided with signaling devices (12) and automatic activation and deactivation of the power limiting mechanism (13). The high pressure fuel pump (4) is connected to the power limiting mechanism (13) and is equipped with a pneumatic drive with an air route (14) from the pneumatic valve (15), and by means of the control unit (10) the power limiting mechanism (13) is turned on and off. Disclosed is a method for preventing failure of an internal combustion engine.
EFFECT: preventing failure of the internal combustion engine during operation of the vehicle in the event that the temperature of the exhaust gases of the engine exceeds the specified limit values.
