METHOD FOR ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTICS OF UNDIFFERENTIATED FORMS OF CONNECTIVE TISSUE DYSPLASIA Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B8/00

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ultrasound diagnostics; it can be used for diagnostics of undifferentiated forms of connective tissue dysplasia (hereinafter – UCTD). To do this, subcutaneous adipose tissue of the anterior abdominal wall is visualized by an ultrasound scanning method in a cross section perpendicular to the skin surface in the projection of the abdomen of one of rectus abdominal muscles at a level of the middle of a distance between the symphysis and the navel. A thickness of the visualized deep layer of subcutaneous adipose tissue is measured as a distance between a contour of the leaf of the superficial fascia and the anterior contour of aponeurosis. Along a line passing through the middle of the cut of the abdomen of the visualized rectus abdominal muscle, by a method for point elastography by a shear wave, a value of an elasticity module of the visualized deep layer of subcutaneous adipose tissue is measured at a point equidistant from contours of the leaf of the superficial fascia and aponeurosis. Then, an indicator of physical resistance of the deep layer of subcutaneous adipose tissue of the anterior abdominal wall is calculated by the original mathematical formula. With a value of the calculated indicator PRI<21.5 N/m, an undifferentiated form of connective tissue dysplasia is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method provides accuracy of diagnostics of UCTD, reduction in labor costs and time costs for diagnostic events, as well as possibility of use of a method in a screening mode.
