SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely cardiac surgery. The atrium wall is placed between the branches of a bipolar radiofrequency clamp-ablator connected to a radiofrequency energy generator. The branches of the bipolar radiofrequency clamp-ablator are compressed and radiofrequency ablative action is carried out until the radiofrequency energy generator signals that transmurality has been achieved. Then, without decompression and without displacement of the branches of the bipolar radiofrequency clamp-ablator, while recording the time it took to achieve transmurality as a result of the first radiofrequency ablative action. Then, successive radiofrequency ablative effects are performed on the same anatomical region of the atrium. At the same time, audio-frequency ablation effects are carried out sequentially without decompression and without displacement of the branches of the bipolar radiofrequency ablation device until the time to achieve transmurality is reduced by 20% compared to the time to achieve transmurality as a result of the first radiofrequency ablation effect. After that, the branches of the bipolar radiofrequency clamp-ablator are unclenched and radiofrequency ablation is initiated in another anatomical region of the atrium.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to provide an ablation line that does not contain viable cells of the atrial wall, forming a homogeneous scar.
