SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to cardiovascular surgery. Tissues of right and left pulmonary venous entries are exposed to consistent radiofrequency effect. Aorta is clamped. cardioplegic solution is infused into the coronary arteries. Left atrial appendage is cut off. Ablation lines, connecting the ablation lines plotted earlier at the pulmonary venous entries, passing along the upper edge of the upper right and left pulmonary veins, are plotted. For this, one branch of the ablation clamp is inserted into the cavity of the left atrium through the entry of the left atrial appendage, and the second branch is located in the transverse sinus of the pericardium. Heart is exteriorized from the pericardium cavity in such a way that the apex of heart is directed toward the patient's suprasternal notch. Then, one branch of the ablation clamp is inserted through the entry of the cut off left atrial appendage under vision control into the cavity of the left atrium, and the second branch of the ablation clamp is placed outside the heart cavity, whereby an ablation line is plotted along the lower edge of the lower right and left pulmonary veins. Ablation lines previously formed at venous entries are joined.

EFFECT: method allows minimizing the time spent on the operation, reducing the level of traumatizing the heart when performing isolation of the posterior wall of the left atrium with the entries of the pulmonary veins.
