FIELD: rescue systems.
SUBSTANCE: rescue system for provision of an escape route from a building is described. The mentioned system contains a ladder and at least one anchor element located at a distance from a proximal end of the ladder. The ladder is made with the possibility of elongation between a folded configuration for storage and an extended configuration for use. The ladder contains a set of essentially rigid ladder sections, wherein each ladder section contains at least one crossbar, and it is made with the possibility of movement relatively to the remained mentioned set of ladder sections. The ladder also contains at least one retaining element attached to or forming a part of at least one of the mentioned ladder sections. The mentioned retaining element contains the first spacer element, wherein the mentioned first spacer element extends between the mentioned anchor element and the ladder in the mentioned extended configuration for use. In the folded configuration for storage, the ladder is disconnected from the anchor element, and when the ladder is in the extended configuration for use, at least one retaining element of the ladder is made so that to attach to the mentioned anchor element.
EFFECT: obtaining a rescue system with a sliding ladder.
