FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology; pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, namely to ophthalmology and pharmacology; it is intended for the production of a composition in the form of a solution for local administration into the eye. The ophthalmic aqueous composition in the form of a solution for local administration into the eye contains 6-(nitrooxy)-hexane acid of (1S,2E)-3-[(1R,2R,3S,5R)-2-[(2Z)-7-(ethylamino)-7-oxo-2-heptene-1-yl]-3,5-dihydroxycyclopentyl]-1-(2-phenylethyl)-2-propene-1-yl ether, macrogol 15 hydroxystearate, at least one buffer, tonicity regulator. Components are used in the claimed amounts. At the same time, pH of the solution is in the range from 5.5 to 6.5, osmolality is in the range from 280 to 320 mosmol/kg. Macrogol 15 hydroxystearate is a single solubilizing agent. A method for the manufacture of the specified composition is also presented.
EFFECT: use of a group of inventions provides increased eye absorption of therapeutically active substance.
