FIELD: aviation technology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to aviation technology, namely to shut-off valves regulating the depletion of fuel from the tanks of aircraft. The shut-off valve contains a housing, a working cavity is located in the upper part of the housing, the main working channel is located in the lower part of the housing, an inlet command pressure fitting and a drain fitting are made in the lower part of the housing. A hollow cylindrical piston is installed on the upper outer part of the valve body, a spring-loaded valve with a stem and a plate is located in the working cavity. The spring-loaded working valve is connected with a hollow cylindrical piston by its stem and is made with the possibility of adjusting the spring force. A sealing element with a gasket is installed between the housing of the shut-off valve and the inner surface of the hollow cylindrical piston in its upper part, and at least four metal balls are installed in the lower part of the hollow cylindrical piston between its inner surface and the housing of the shut-off valve.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to prevent the piston from jamming on the valve housing and to increase the reliability of the fuel system of the aircraft.
