FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, namely to devices for draining aircraft fuel systems. The drain valve comprises a hollow cylindrical body consisting of an upper and a lower part, a cover installed in the upper part of the body, a spring-loaded poppet valve containing a stem and a poppet, a membrane. An inlet fitting is made in the lower part of the body, an outlet fitting is made in the upper part of the body, a command pressure supply fitting is made in the cover, a cylindrical bushing is located inside the body, in which a spring-loaded poppet valve stem is installed. A plate is installed on the lower part of the rod, a thrust washer is installed on the upper part of the rod, on the upper part of which a membrane is installed. The outer edge of the membrane is fixed on the top of the drain valve body with a cap, and the inner edge of the membrane is fixed on the thrust washer with a pressure washer.
EFFECT: claimed invention improves the tightness of the fuel system, preventing fuel from entering the drainage system and further into the environment, when it expands during long-term parking of aircraft, and provides drainage of fuel tanks when they are refueled in automatic mode.
