FIELD: aviation technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation technology, namely to fuel depletion valves regulating the depletion of fuel from the tanks of aircraft. The fuel depletion valve contains a housing, a cone-shaped flow divider, an inlet command pressure fitting, a spring-loaded hollow cylindrical piston, a rod coaxially mounted inside the housing. The flow divider is located with the tip of the cone towards the main flow and is connected to the body by at least three partitions, forming a single unit with the housing. A spring-loaded hollow cylindrical piston is mounted on the outer part of the base of the flow divider. The lower end of the stem is installed at the base of the flow divider, and a cover is installed at the upper end of the rod. A spring is installed on the rod between the lid and the housing of the hollow cylindrical piston. A sealing element with a collar forming a friction pair with the rod is installed between the hollow cylindrical piston and the rod passing through it, and an annular cylindrical bore is made on the outer part of the flow divider from the side of its base, into which a sealing element with a collar forming a friction pair with a hollow cylindrical piston is installed.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to prevent jamming of the fuel depletion valve and to increase the reliability of the fuel system of the aircraft.
