SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a filter for purifying oily waters, containing a body; branch pipes for the supply of water for purification and the output of separated petroleum products and purified water; metal meshes restricting the granular filler; double-sifted sea sand with a particle size of 0.5 to 1.0 mm is used as a filter charge; an annular perforated collector for the supply of water for purification is installed in the upper part of the filter body, made in the form of a ring with holes on the bottom, wherein the total area of the holes is greater than the area of the collector inlet; characterised by the cylindrical filter body being made all-welded and tapering upwards, with a neck in the upper part thereof with a upper thread of a diameter smaller than the filter body for loading the filtering material, configured to be covered with a threaded lid and a rubber liner located in the groove; a branch pipe for discharging the filtered petroleum products and a pressure gauge are installed on the upper surface of the lid, handles are provided on the sides of the removable lid for screwing tightly on the body, a throttle valve is installed on the branch pipe for the supply of water for purification, and the outlet branch pipe for the purified water extends along the filter body up to the level of the top lid of the filter and has a valve for the supply of washing water, wherein the upper restricting metal mesh is removable and flexible, and the collector for discharging the purified water is wrapped in a metal mesh with a cell size of 0.5 mm.
