FIELD: optical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optical materials science and concerns a broadband selective UV radiation sensor. The sensor contains Agn (n≤5) silver molecular clusters, which are formed in the near-surface layer of glass of the MgO-Al2O3-TiO2-SiO2 system.
EFFECT: providing high sensitivity in a wide spectral range and selectivity with respect to the wavelength of external radiation, as well as increasing the microhardness of the sensor.
