FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for connecting and fixing parts that perceive transverse loads when fasteners are placed in holes with a gap that determines the direction of possible movement of one part relative to another. Essence: the first part is positioned relative to the second part in the desired position so that the cylindrical parts of the fasteners, passing through the mounting holes in the first part, fall into the corresponding holes of the second part, and on the side of the first part opposite from the second part. For each mounting hole of the first part, hemispherical bushings are installed on both sides coaxially with the mounting holes of the second part until their curved surfaces come into contact with the surfaces of the chamfers of the holes of the first part, then nuts are installed coaxially to the bushings between the first and second parts, after which fasteners are installed through each hole of the first part, a pair of bushings and a nut, each of which is screwed in into the corresponding hole of the second part until their heads come into contact with the flat surface of each bushing, after that, each nut is unscrewed towards the head of the corresponding fastener and tightened, clamping and fixing the first part between the bushings in a given position.
EFFECT: simplification and improvement of the manufacturability of the process of fixing parts in a given position relative to each other with a given accuracy and reliability.
