FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a welding gun comprising two opposing welding electrodes (39, 46) and actuator (40) for their displacement. Electrode (39) is connected to first end (36a) of C-shaped lever (36) having socket (41) for part (26). Second end (36b) of lever (36) is connected to the body of actuator (40). Another electrode (46) is attached to actuator (40) that is capable of sliding axially relative to first electrode (39) rod (42) of actuator (40) and has a bearing surface corresponding to an area of sheet metal part (18). Lever (36) is connected to bearing structure (68, 68a) of welding gun (20, 22, 24) by axial sliding block (50, 52), designed with a possibility to move lever (36) and weldable part (26) for closing gun (20, 22, 24) as a result of driving actuator (40).
EFFECT: invention can be used for bonding a part in the form of a bush or nut to the surface of the sheet metal part by projection welding.
