SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for washing air tanks of rolling stock from contamination and conducting hydraulic testing thereof. Apparatus for washing and hydraulic testing of air tanks of rolling stock, placed on a platform, containing a holding container, a steam generator and a water supply pipeline, a pipeline with valves and a pump with an electric engine for the supply of a steam-water jet and washing water to the air tank; characterised by a storage container for industrial water and a settling tank being additionally installed, as well as a pipeline with a pump for the passage of industrial water through the electrodes of the electric pulse unit, a replaceable filter, followed by the entry of the purified water into the holding container and of the sediment into the settling tank; wherein washing water container is connected via a pipeline with the pump and the nozzle located on a pipeline extending from the steam generator; each pipeline is equipped with an electromagnetic valve for the separate supply of a steam water jet and washing water into the air tank.

EFFECT: reduced discharge of industrial water into the sewage.
