SUBSTANCE: the invention relates to the field of computer technology. The method comprises steps at which at least one user profile is formed, including first, second and third parameters, the values of the first and second parameters depending on the value of the third parameter. Combine user profiles, depending on the third parameter, into a profile family. The identifier of the first type or the second type is determined. Identifies network resources located on at least one network server. Determine the presence of common characteristics of resources and combine them into a resource family. Each network resource and/or received resource family is associated with an identifier of the first or second type. Data is collected, at least in the first and second time intervals, about requests for network resources from at least one first terminal that is connected to the same network as the server. Based on the received data, at least in the first and second time intervals, the first parameters associated with resources and/or resource families are determined with the first type of identifier, and the second parameters associated with resources and/or resource families with the second type of identifier. The first parameters associated with resources and/or resource families with the first identifier type are matched with the first profile parameter and the second parameter associated with resources and/or resource families with the second identifier type with the second profile parameter. Determine the number of identified matches for the specified time intervals. A threshold value is determined depending on the third parameter of the user profile. When the number of accumulated matches of the first and/or second threshold value is exceeded, a notification is sent to the second terminal.
EFFECT: the technical result consists in increasing the accuracy of determining the time of using a computer on the network, depending on the visited resources.
