FIELD: brewery.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for continuous dehydration of brewer's grains at breweries. The decanter consists of a body 1, inside which is placed a settling cylindrical-conical rotor 2 with windows for unloading sludge 3 and output centrate 4, with the possibility of rotation on main bearings 5, a supply pipe 6 with a window 7, a drive 8, an auger 9 for transporting sludge that repeats the shape 2. A device for additional sludge dehydration 10 is placed coaxially with the precipitating cylindrical-conical rotor 2, including a rigidly fixed disk 11, on the outer side of which a filter sector 12 with a perforated surface is fixed, and closed by a casing 13. Inside the filter sector 12 is a cone-cylindrical drum 14, rigidly fixed on the axis of rotation of the screw 9 and with its conical part resting against the window for unloading sediment 3. Rigidly fixed radial blades 15 are placed on the cylindrical part of the drum 14 to create a centrifugal filtering force of the sediment of the beer grains and clean the internal perforated filtering sector 12. The filtering sector 12 is connected to the branch pipe for unloading the solid fraction and the branch pipe 17 for the filtrate output. To remove the centrate from the sedimentation zone of the cylindrical-conical rotor 2, the decanter is equipped with a drain pipe 18.
EFFECT: reducing the moisture content of the solid fraction of spent grains.
