SUBSTANCE: settling centrifuge has casing with centrifuging sediment collector and sludge collector, cylindrical-conical rotor with openings for discharging centrifuging sediments and sludge into collectors, cylindrical- conical auger mounted axially in rotor, drum of auger having openings for passage of basic suspension into conical part of rotor, feeding tube and flocculation accelerator supply device for feeding flocculation accelerator into basic suspension. Supply device has chamber filled with liquid carbonic acid used as flocculation accelerator and source of carbonic acid disposed outside casing and connected with chamber. Length of chamber is 2/3 the length is made porous or perforated for providing passage of liquid carbonic acid into rotor cavity. EFFECT: increased efficiency in separating sediments and sludge and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
