SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of welding pipes and pipe assemblies and can be used in the installation of processing pipeline systems with fitting and precise joining of welded pipe ends, sectors and bends. The method includes the operation of shifting the axis of each of the welded sectors in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the rotator mounted on a fixed support. The rotator faceplate with guides is rotated until the direction of the faceplate guides coincides with the direction of displacement of the end face of the welded pipe bend, after which the welded sector is moved until its axis coincides with the axis of another welded sector and with the axis of the rotator. The operation of setting the angle of the joint between the joined sectors is carried out.

EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to improve the quality of the resulting welded joint by ensuring the accuracy of the alignment of the welded pipe bend sectors.
