FIELD: engine building and power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for measuring the volumes of combustion chambers in engine building and power engineering, for example, such as combustion chambers (CC) in pistons of reciprocating internal combustion engines (ICE), combustion chambers (CC) in cylinder heads of ICE and volumes of CC in the ICE assembly. The set of means includes a mechanical coordinate device for positioning a hollow product in a predetermined manner in space, a cover plate provided with an inlet for a filling volumetric measuring device, a filling volumetric measuring device made with the possibility of filling it with measuring liquid and with the possibility of it flowing out of its outlet and filling measured chamber in a hollow product. The measured liquid is water, and the cover plate is made transparent. Additionally, the set is equipped with a composition that hydrophobizes the surfaces of the measured chamber of the hollow product and the transparent plate-cover, a thermally stabilizing volume or a device designed to accommodate both the entire set of measuring tools and the entire hollow product with the measured chamber in it and with all auxiliary equipment.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of measuring the volume in the hollow products of each chamber separately, the chamber of the product as an assembly and the versatility of the applicability of the kit.
