FIELD: shipbuilding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding, namely to determination of amount of cargo loaded on a vessel by vessel draught marks. For attachment of a device for determination of average vessel draught on a vessel hull, the device is remotely positioned and fixed directly at an object of observation on the vessel hull, readings of the device do not require additional calculations and are carried out safely for an operator, using a level with an attachment mechanism, and the device includes: the main flexible transparent plastic tube of a level, which is attached to a metal rod, an original mechanism for attachment of the device to a vessel side is installed on the rod. The device is lowered on halyard overboard along vessel deepening marks until partial immersion of the main transparent tube of a level, while the attachment mechanism is in an initial position, the attachment mechanism is brought to a working position by tensioning control lanyard, and it tightly fixes the device on the vessel hull. For changing a position or for lifting the device, the control lanyard is tensioned by an operator with a small force, while the attachment mechanism is unfixed from the vessel hull, when weakening the control lanyard, the attachment mechanism is automatically brought to the initial position, releasing the device for lifting or changing the position. Ease of detachment of the attachment mechanism is achieved by that a force on magnets during detachment is applied to fill them up using eccentrics acting in this case as a lever, accuracy of determination of an average level is achieved by using plugs, which compensate perturbation of the sea surface, a fixed position of a level pressed tightly to a deepening mark.

EFFECT: objective determination of an average value of vessel draught during ship works and determination of vessel load by its draught in conditions of sea perturbance.
