FIELD: aviation technology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and device for generating a pilot warning signal about the braking distance of an aircraft. To generate a warning signal, the current coordinates and motion parameters are measured: range, altitude, speed, these parameters are entered through the communication unit with the on-board equipment into the computing device, the entered data are distributed across the blocks of the computing device, the forecast value of the range to the final point of the trajectory is determined, this value is corrected and a signal is output to the electronic display of the command flight instrument in the pilot’s field of view. The device contains a communication unit with on-board measuring equipment, a unit for calculating the forecast range to the final point of the trajectory, a unit for calculating the correction coefficient for different configurations of braking and positioning devices, a unit for calculating the adjusted range to the final point, a unit for displaying the results of forecasting the range on the screen of the command flight instrument, a unit in the form of an indicator of the longitudinal movement of the aircraft on the runway with digitization of the main coordinates, the unit for calculating the rolling reserve of the aircraft to the cutoff of the runway, connected in a certain way.
EFFECT: safety of aircraft landing is improved by increasing the pilot’s awareness.
