FIELD: steel coatings.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for forming a corrosion-resistant wear-resistant coating on steel. Diffusion saturation of steel is carried out at a temperature of 900-1070°C for 2-5 hours in a lead melt containing the following ratio of components, wt.%: lead 98.4-93.9, lithium 0.5-0.8, chromium 1 -5, tantalum 0.1-0.3.
EFFECT: increased wear resistance, corrosion resistance and service life of products made of structural steels under conditions of exposure to high contact stresses, alternating loads and aggressive impact of the working environment.
