FIELD: dissimilar materials parts manufacture.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the manufacture of parts consisting of dissimilar materials. A method for surfacing a copper alloy on a steel part includes making a mold for surfacing by welding steel strips to the original steel part, cleaning the inner surface of the resulting mold by shot blasting, applying flux, placing it in the mold of the deposited alloy, applying additional flux to the alloy, heating dissimilar materials in a gas furnace and subsequent removal of the steel strips from the bimetallic part. Heating of dissimilar materials is carried out to a temperature higher than the melting temperature of the deposited material and lower than the melting temperature of steel. Additional cleaning of the inner surface of the obtained form is carried out by machining and degreasing. The form for welding is equipped with a removable heat-insulated steel cover to create a directional crystallization of the alloy. To create an oxidizing atmosphere above the surface of the deposited alloy, when dissimilar materials are heated, argon is supplied through a removable heat-insulated steel cover.
EFFECT: increased strength of connection of bimetal layers.
