FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry, in particular to the extraction of liquid or gaseous fluids from boreholes by water displacement. A method is claimed for determining the displacement factor and the coefficient of additional oil displacement by ion-modified water, which consists in taking one or more rock samples and creating the initial oil saturation in accordance with OST 39-195-86 “Oil. Method for determining the coefficient of oil displacement by water in laboratory conditions”; oil is displaced by formation water until the complete cessation of oil output and the displacement coefficient is determined; stop the aging experiment for at least 24 hours; re-displacing oil with formation water until the complete cessation of oil output and determining the displacement factor; oil is displaced by the composition of ion-modified water until the oil output stops completely and the additional displacement coefficient is determined; stopping the experiment for aging and wettability change due to contact with the ion-modified water solution; oil is displaced by the composition of ion-modified water until the oil output stops completely; a rock sample or samples are removed from the filtration unit, placed in an Ammot vessel for capillary impregnation, and the after-displacement coefficient is determined.
EFFECT: determination of the total displacement efficiency and a clear definition of the oil displacement efficiency.
