FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for obtaining fresh water from the moisture of the surrounding atmospheric air and can be used in field, hiking or extreme conditions. The device (dwg. 1, 2) contains a housing made in the form of coaxially articulated cylindrical functional sections (1, 2, 3, 4) of equal diameter by means of threaded connections. An electric motor (10) with a fan (11) and a heat exchanger (12) placed under them, which is a heater in the form of a radiator, are located in the upper section (1). A refrigerator (18) in the form of a cooling radiator and a conical air duct (16) placed above it are located in the middle section (2), equipped with holes in the upper part (17) for the outlet of cooled air to the outside. In the lower section (3) there is a spherical water collector (19) equipped with a conical insert (20) installed in the center of the water collector (19) and connected to a water filter (22). Atmospheric air entering the device interacts with the heater (12) and is cooled on the radiator plates of the refrigerator (18) at the temperature of the “dew point”. The resulting condensate accumulates in the water collector (19), turns into water and flows into the tank section (4).
EFFECT: reduction in the dimensions of the device and an increase in the efficiency of its use.
