SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical technology. The device for carrying out iontophoresis includes: a power source for supplying electricity necessary for the delivery of a drug that must penetrate through the skin of the area of administration into the body; a complex dielectric layer to cover the skin area through which delivery is carried out, containing a gel and a drug with polar molecules in a free state that is to be delivered through the skin; and a set of electrodes for connecting, respectively, to the power source and the complex dielectric layer so that the electricity from the power source passes through the delivery area and at least through part of the complex dielectric layers. Accordingly, at least part of the complex dielectric layer has a given resistance value.
EFFECT: device for performing iontophoresis can not only increase the percutaneous delivery of medicines, but also not damage the skin.
