FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present document proposes methods for the production of fluorinated solid oxides by bringing into contact of a fluor-containing compound with an inorganic base to obtain an aqueous mixture, pH of which is at least 4, with subsequent bringing of solid oxide into contact with the specified aqueous mixture to obtain fluorinated solid oxide. Methods are also proposed for the production of fluorinated solid oxides by bringing of an acidic fluor-containing compound into contact with solid oxide to obtain a mixture with subsequent bringing of the specified mixture into contact with the inorganic base to obtain fluorinated solid oxide with pH of at least 4. The invention also relates to fluorinated solid oxide obtained by the specified methods, catalytic systems, and methods for olefin polymerization. Fluorinated solid oxide is used as an activator component in a catalytic system for olefin polymerization.

EFFECT: obtainment of fluorinated solid oxides in a safer way, low corrosion activity of fluorinated solid oxide relatively to equipment, absence of emission into the atmosphere of potentially dangerous vapors of fluorine hydride during spraying drying.
