FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a metallocene compound of formula: (X1)(X2)(X3)(X4)M1. In said formula: M1 is titanium, zirconium or hafnium; X1 is a substituted or unsubstituted fluorenyl ligand, where any substitute is independently selected from C1-C12 hydrocarbyl; X2 is a cyclopentadienyl ligand substituted with C2-C18 heterohydrocarbyl group containing an oxygen atom located at distance of 5 atoms or less from the cyclopentadienyl ligand; X1 and X2 are connected by a bridge group of formula > ER1R2, where E is C or Si, R1 is C1-C12 hydrocarbyl group and R2 is C3-C12 alkenyl group having a terminal C=C double bond; and X3 and X4 are independently selected from a halide. Also disclosed is a catalyst composition containing a metallocene compound and a method for polymerisation of olefins.
EFFECT: catalyst composition containing said metallocene compound enables to obtain polyethylene with a low melt index in the absence of a second metallocene.
