FIELD: emergency disconnection systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for an emergency disconnection system for a fluid pipeline. The emergency disconnect device (10) has the first and second submodules (20, 30), a clamping device (40) that, when closed, holds two submodules (20, 30) together and, when open, allows to separate the submodules (20, 30), and also the actuator (50). The rod (53) of the piston of the hydraulic drive of the actuator (50) is pushed at least partially out of the cylinder (52), while the rod (53) of the piston is connected by means of a gearbox (60) with a gear rack (61) that extends beyond the mating plane (SSE) between the sub-modules (20, 30) until the hydraulic drive (51) is actuated, and the gearbox (60) converts the pushing motion (SB) of the piston rod (53) into the pulling motion (ZB) of the rack (61). The part of the rack (61) interacting with the second sub-module (30) is retracted towards the first sub-module (20) as a result of the expulsion of the piston rod (53) from the cylinder (52).
