FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to heat exchanger (1) for fuel cell system (100), in particular, operating on liquid fuel, to the use of such a heat exchanger (1) and fuel cell system (100), to a method for their operation. Thermal energy can be supplied through heat exchanger (1) between pipeline (3) of exhaust gas of the system and pipeline (4) of supply to anode of specified fuel cell system (100), having evaporation area (5), overheating area (6), and reforming area (7), which are connected via the stream to each other, while heat-transferring elements (2) at least partially include catalytic material on the side, through which a possibility of flowing exhaust gas of the system is provided.
EFFECT: effective operation of a fuel cell system with the least possible number of components.
