FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for combined production of methanol and ammonia and to a system for combined production of methanol and ammonium in accordance with this method. The proposed method includes following stages: (a) formation of the first flow of synthesis gas by interaction of the first part of hydrocarbon raw materials and steam in a steam reforming installation, (b) formation of the second flow of synthesis gas in parallel to the first flow of synthesis gas by interaction of the second part of hydrocarbon raw materials with oxygen-containing gas and steam in an autothermal reforming installation, (c) synthesis of methanol in the synthesis loop from the first technological gas containing the first flow of synthesis gas, and (d) synthesis of ammonia from the second technological gas obtained from the second flow of synthesis gas. At the same time, a purge flow containing hydrogen is removed at the methanol synthesis stage (c), part of the purge flow is supplied to the autothermal reforming installation and/or the second synthesis gas at the stage (b) and the methanol synthesis stage (c) are performed at pressure more than or equal to working pressure of the autothermal reforming installation.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of a method for combined production of methanol and ammonia.
