FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding and can be used in the ship's control system. The device contains blocks of emergency steering control (ESC), emergency control of the main engine (EMME), course and speed change (CSC), heading control (HC), main engine control (MEC) and a navigation unit (BN). A unit for generating the main engine operating mode in shallow water (MESW) was introduced into the structure of the device, the first output of which is connected to the fourth input of the MEC, and the second, third and fourth inputs are connected, respectively, to the second output according to the current speed VT, to the third output according to the current draft of the vessel TT and with the fourth exit according to the current sea depth under the keel of the vessel HT HC.
EFFECT: automatic reduction of the ship's speed to a safe value, excluding its subsidence in shallow water and preventing accidental destruction of the hull structure, is achieved.
