FIELD: detection equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device for detection of leakages in a checking zone of sealing membrane of a sealed and heat-insulating tank. The leakage detection device contains a leakage detection dome, a vacuum pump, and an analysis tool. The leakage detection dome includes the main case intended for placement in the checking zone, and a seal connected to the main case and made with the possibility of formation of a detection chamber between the main case and the checking zone. The seal includes a peripheral sealing edge made with the possibility of contact with sealing membrane and having a closed loop embracing the detection chamber. The vacuum pump is connected to the detection chamber for creation of reduced pressure in the detection chamber. The analysis tool is connected to the detection chamber for analysis of gas present in the detection chamber.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of checking the tightness of sealed membrane of a tank in minimum time.
