FIELD: technical and experimental physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical and experimental physics, in particular to scintillation detectors based on silicon photomultipliers, and can be used in systems for detecting and processing ionizing radiation. The radiation detection device contains a silicon photomultiplier with an amplifier and a voltage source connected to it. The voltage source contains an interconnected voltage regulator, the input of which is supplied with a photomultiplier supply voltage, and a photomultiplier charge current stabilizer, including a P-N-P transistor, the collector of which is connected to the silicon photomultiplier cathode and a capacitor to ground, and two series-connected resistors. The output of the first resistor is connected to ground through a capacitor, the output of the second resistor is connected to the emitter of the P-N-P transistor.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to identify pulses at a high loading capacity of the photomultiplier, while expanding the functionality of the device.
