FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a transparent molded product for use as a synthetic scintillator in determination of a type and intensity of ionizing and/or non-ionizing radiation. The product contains: i) organic polymer. Moreover, a polyaddition product of polyfunctional isocyanate with one or several polyfunctional hardeners is contained as at least part of organic polymer, where diisocyanates containing single- or polycyclic aromatic and/or heteroaromatic residues with NCO groups on aliphatic C atoms are used as polyfunctional isocyanates, and/or the polyfunctional hardener contains one or several aromatic rings. In this case, organic polymer is configured in such a way that, under the action of ionizing and/or non-ionizing radiation, it emits scintillation radiation in the range from UV to IR spectrum. The product also contains ii) organic polymer and an additive, where additives are one or several aromatic compounds preferably selected from a group containing 9,10-diphenylanthracene, 2,5-diphenyloxazole (PPO), p-terphenyl, 1,4-bis(2-(5-phenoxazolyl))-benzene (POPOP), 1,4-bis(2-methylstiryl)benzene (Bis-MSB), naphthalene, biphenyl, 1,1’,4,4’-tetraphenylbutadiene, diphenylstilbene, 2-(1-naphthyl),5-phenyloxazole (α-NPO), 2-phenyl,5-(4-biphenylyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole (PBD), 2,5-di(4-biphenyl)-oxazole (BBO), 1,4-di-(2-(5-p-tolyloxazolyl))-benzene (TOPOT), 1,4-di(2-(4-methyl-5-phenyloxazolyl))-benzene (BiMePOPOP), 2-(diethoxyphenyl)-5-phenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole (DF), 2-phenyl-5-(4-biphenyl)-1,3-oxazole (BPO), 1,3,5-triphenyl-∆2-pyrazoline (3P-∆2), 1,2-di-(4-biphenylol)-ethylene (BBE), 1-(4-biphenylyl)-2-α-naphthyl-ethylene (BαNE), 2,5-bis(5-tert-butyl-benzoxazole-2-yl)thiophene, 2-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-5-(4-biphenylyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole, trans, trans-1,4-diphenyl-1,3-butadiene. The invention also relates to a dosimetry device containing a molded product as a scintillator and to the use of a molded product as a scintillator.
EFFECT: proposed product allows simple processing according to a type of injection resins, and also absorbs radiation without turbidity and incompatibility.
