AIRLIFT-JET PROJECTILE Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC E21C45/00 E21B7/18

Abstract RU 2782749 C1

FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining and can be used in downhole hydraulic mining of minerals, in particular, in the development of thin flooded coastal-marine thawed placers occurring under unstable flooded sedimentary rocks. The composition of the airlift-jet projectile includes a pulp-lifting column with a longitudinal groove in the lower part. A head in the form of a tee is attached to the upper end of the pulp-lifting column. The water supply and air supply columns are coaxially placed inside the pulp-lifting column and head. The upper ends of the air supply and water supply columns are tied together with a manifold. The sealing assembly is installed on the head to seal the annular space between it and the air supply column. A folding knee is placed inside the pulp-lifting column. The latter is connected to the lower end of the water supply column by means of a hinge assembly, which consists of a U-shaped tee, a sleeve and a casing placed coaxially on it. The bushing and the casing are made in the form of a hollow cylinder, while the casing is coaxially mounted outside the bushing with the possibility of axial rotation relative to it. One end of the folding elbow is plugged, and the other is rigidly attached to the casing. The internal cavities of the folding knee and the casing are hydraulically interconnected. The U-shaped tee is made with inlet and outlet pipes, while the inlet pipe is attached to the lower end of the water supply column, and the sleeve is placed between the ends of the outlet pipes. A radial window and a channel are made in the side wall of the sleeve, and a flushing channel is made in the side wall of the casing. The folding knee, equipped with jet conveying and destroying nozzles, is connected with the lower part of the pulp-lifting column by pivotally mounted linkage. The folding elbow in the form of a hollow cylinder is made with a cross section in the form of a circle or an ellipse, and the cross section of the passage channels of the transporting and destroying jet nozzles has the shape of a rectangle, the major axis of symmetry of which is perpendicular to the axis of the folding elbow.

EFFECT: increasing the productivity and reliability of the airlift-jet projectile during downhole mining.
