SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for the production of rigid epoxy foam plastic. A method for the production of rigid epoxy foam plastic is proposed, including following stages: a) optionally, mixing of epoxy resin with a foaming agent, a2) optionally, mixing of a composition A containing ionic liquid and optionally the second curing reagent with the foaming agent, b) mixing of epoxy resin optionally containing the foaming agent with the composition A to obtain a composition B, and c) foaming of the composition B containing epoxy resin, the foaming agent, ionic liquid, and optionally at least one another curing reagent, using which additional heating is not required. A set for the production of rigid epoxy foam plastic is also proposed.

EFFECT: obtaining uniform rigid epoxy foam plastic, wherein the proposed method allows for its production without additional heat supply.
