SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, namely, to meat farming, and can be used for fattening cattle. The method is characterised by adding lactulose-containing feed additives "Lactuvet-1" in the amount of 20 g per 5 kg of dry feed per animal per day or "Kumelact-1" in the amount of 20-30 g per 5 kg of dry feed per animal per day to the main diet of the animals in the age from 10 to 16 months.
EFFECT: increase in the meat productivity of cattle.
