FIELD: packaging technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flexible package protected from counterfeiting. The specified flexible package includes panels made of a flexible substrate containing a front panel and a back panel located opposite the front panel, and a polymer protective strip with a barrier coating. The front and back panels define the inner space of the package. At least part of the specified polymer protective strip is located on at least one panel for hermetically sealing the inner or outer surface of the edges of the panel without overlapping the entire panel with the formation of a three-layer structure in the overlap area. The anti-counterfeiting element of the flexible package is made on at least one surface of the polymer protective strip in a predetermined place or in arbitrary places, or over the entire surface of the polymer protective strip to protect the package from counterfeiting.

EFFECT: package is protected from counterfeiting without or with the visibility of the product inside the package with a higher sealing strength, which reduces the likelihood of counterfeiting goods, while the package is made economical, attractive and quite effective.
