FIELD: filtration.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in external systems for filtration of water in aquariums for fish breeding and in small reservoirs. A filter contains box (2) in the form of a container open in its upper part with filtering cartridges located in it and cover (3) attached to box (2) with filling device (4) placed in it and removable connecting branch pipes (5, 6) of water input (7) and water output (8) devices. Water input (7) and water output (8) devices are equipped with valves. Each of water input (7) and water output (8) devices contains first valve (9) and second valve (10) connected using drive transmission mechanism (11) containing rotary lever (111) with gear rail (112), which interacts with gear wheel (113) installed in case (102) of second valve (10), installed in case (92) of first valve (9). Case (102) contains retainer (114) formed above gear wheel (113), which, in a position of connecting branch pipe (5, 6) installed in cover (3), is located above an envelope of gear rail (112). Rotation of lever (111) provides a possibility of simultaneous change in an operational mode of valves (9, 10) from a closed state to an open state and blocking of gear rail (112) under retainer (114), and rotation of lever (111) back to the closed position of valves (9, 10) provides a possibility of unblocking of gear rail (112) from under retainer (114).

EFFECT: invention provides prevention of water leakage from an external filter for purification of aquarium water, when disconnecting connecting branch pipes.
